Updates
Just read my last few posts and I've come a long way, baby. ;) Everything went fine with school, all the paperwork was fine and I finished my first semester with a B. Clinicals were boring but this semester, I am definitely getting my share of..well, everything! I've had more experience in the few weeks of my 2nd semester than I had my entire first semester! We're at Crozer Chester and there is a very different population than we had at Bryn Mawr. So far, things have gone well. I've given meds and even got to give an insulin injection. No Lovenox or Heparin yet, though... those should be interesting. I love my instructor. She's so organized and she's really a cool person. I got so lucky!
It snowed and iced the other day so I've been kinda stuck here with the boys for 2 days straight. They have a 4-day weekend to boot. Tomorrow we have dr's appointments - I think Vincent has ring worm *shudder*. He's got a funky looking spot on his back and I googled only to find that it looks exactly like ringworm.
I'm also getting a haircut tomorrow! Wooohoo!! Sick of the hair, want it short again. Maybe I'll even get it colored this summer. I need big changes to get out of this funk I've been in.
Nick got his permit after Christmas. I haven't driven with him yet, but he's been driving with John and doing well. I wish I had more money so I could buy him a car. :( He's not working right now - he's been looking for a job but having no luck. I hope I can update soon with good news as far as the job search goes.
