Day 2 of blogging

First of all, what the hell time is it??? Every clock in my house is different. Ugh. I just love turning the clocks forward. Makes for great confusion when you wake up in a fog and are trying to figure out what time it is.

My husband and I went out to dinner at The Capital Grill last night with my sister and her husband. It was very nice to have time to sit down and be grown-ups just having dinner without kids throwing food or climbing under the table. ;) My sister has 3 under the age of 6 so I'm sure she especially appreciates the quiet time. This is my son with my neice, my sister's oldest daughter. They are so cute together, they are best buds.

That was also taken on Easter.

Another one of my sisters, Beth, is pregnant and due in June. Even though she is about to be a mom, in my heart she is still my baby sister, still that adorable little girl who would run away when we tried to brush her hair. I took care of her when I was 13 and she was just a baby. My father had remarried and he and his wife had 3 kids together. Anyway, when I was just a kid, my dad and his wife would leave us (me and my other sister) to babysit Beth all day every day during the summer. So we are very close. I still can't believe she is having a baby. We are all so excited and can't wait for the baby to arrive. She found out she's having a boy. She works as an airline stewardess (or whatever they call them these days! I'm sure there's a more modern name) and she has been keeping up so far but soon she will have to stop. I don't know how she does it.

Then there is Aimee. She is the 2nd daughter that my dad and his wife had. My bubbly, adorable little sister who just lights up a room when she comes into it. I just love her to death. She is so fun and so full of life. And she is SO excited about this baby coming - I swear sometimes she is more excited than Beth. LOL. She and Beth are very close -they have been through so much together and they came out of it both beautiful girls with great personalities. I love them both to death.

Thomas was the 3rd and last child to be born before my dad and his wife finally split up. He is just 3 months younger than my oldest son, Nick. In school, when they would say they were nephew and uncle, the kids wouldn't believe them. They got a kick out of doing that. They aren't as close as I had hoped they'd be, but they are just very different.
In this picture, Thomas is on the left end, and Aimee is on the right end. You already know everyone in between.

Aren't they all just gorgeous. :D

Well I better get my ass out of this chair and go get dressed. I have to go pick up my baby Vinnie. He slept over my sister-in-law's house last night and I'm sure he doesn't want to leave, but all good things must come to an end. Until whenever.... :)
